Yagura for double static rook, Righthand Yagura for double ranging rook, Boat Castle for static rook vs ranging rook, and Anaguma Castle for ranging rook vs static rook. But I hardly ever play ranging rook, so my two castles of choice are Yagura and Boat Castle.
Re: What is your favorite castling style?
sometimes i dont even castle the king completely... i use yagura a lot but its not the only castle i play

I like Millenium, if we finish, it's very powerful against shikenbisha.
Ai ibisha: Yagura.
Ibisha vs furibisha: funa kakoi/millenium.
Furibisha vs ibisha: mino kakoi.
Ai furibisha: kim musou/mino kakoi.

Re: What is your favorite castling style?
I'd like to know what the Millenium is too?
My favourite is the Yagura and the boat , depending on what style of game my opponent plays.

Millenium is a heavy castle with 4 generals.
I played it in this game:
http://www.playok.com/pt/game.phtml?gid=sg&pid=268205&app=1
and i started to do it here but i changed my strategie to tikatetsu bisha to attack my opponent's castle. But i failed here ^^

I do against beginners, but in general I dislike it. The square in front of the silver is far too weak for my tastes.

Re: What is your favorite castling style?
You are actually one of the strongest players here too, being able to beat Americankisei. I'd love to watch a live game between Takodori-san and you sometimes again.
I'm still also in the learning process of this game, as well as some other members at this forum. Hopefully we can learn from each other and also teach others for what they don't know .

Actually, my favorite castle is the one I made against my sister back when she was still learning.

That is the coolest castle I have ever seen. I'm going to try that one in my next games
