Hello everyone^^
I'm 19 years old, I take great interesst in programming and in Japan itself (currently learning a bit japanese).
I'm from Germany and I play shogi since 6 month, but I'm still really bad at it .
I hope I can learn a lot on this site and improve my english language (maybe even japanese).
I'm currently registered at Shogi Club 24 and PlayOK.
Hope it's fun here and nice to meet you all.

Re: Hello everyone^^
Hey BlueFlame90, welcome to the 81-Square Universe! It's good to have you around.
Six months? So you've been playing about as long as I have. What's your rating on PlayOK and SC24?
Regrettably, I don't play on SC24 much. The players there are way too strong! I've lost 7 matches and won none. ^^;

Re: Hello everyone^^
I only played on PlayOK once and I lost after that I started on SC24 i won 7 and lost 25 there my current rating on SC24 is 15kyu (56).
Is it true that players are stronger on SC24? Than I should start playing on PlayOK more

Re: Hello everyone^^
Welcome. I only play at PlayOK because my skills aren't really that good. But I'm learning and improving as well!

Yes, many of the people on Shogi Club 24 are Japanese who have been playing their whole lives, and some of the low-ranked players I hear are actually dan holders with the Japan Shogi Association. On the other hand, many of the people on PlayOK are people who have never even heard of shogi before, so it's a great place to play if you're pretty new to the game.
