Hello.
I'm crazysjd89, but you can call me Crazy for short.
My interest in Shogi started a long time ago, and came from my interest in Chess. Well, even though that's true, I didn't start playing until I showed HT Shogi, because I'm really too shy to play random strangers very often.
I'm rather unorthodox compared to most Shogi players, I guess. I don't study Shogi strategies or castles, because I prefer learning them for myself from playing, watching other people play, or solving tsume problems.
And finally, the comic that helped push HT to playing Shogi (excuse to post it because I like it) : https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img18/2985/warmwinter18.jpg
Touhou and the When They Cry series of visual novels are my faviorte things. Esspecially Umineko.

Re: Hello.
Welcome, Crazy. And it's all fine if you don't learn strategies or castles but rather learn your own experience from playing. I mean, that's how people invent new things (or move-lines), right?
