Regicide (1225 at the time) vs. barbapappa (1596 or something)

This is by far the messiest game I've ever played. It was also one of my first few games. I had no idea what I was doing half of the time but somehow the result spoke otherwise. I think I made qute a few mistakes that could've been better but I'm not sure how they would change the results. I did make a lot of random moves since this was when I first learned shogi. Comments appreciated!

I'll make comments on specific moves.

7. ... N-3c I don't think this was a good move at all. You could have saved all the trouble that followed by instead playing 7. ... S-3b. The following moves could have gone like 8. P-2d Px2d 9. Rx2d P*2c 10. Rx3d S-3c 11. R-3e and it would have been a much more manageable situation for you.

15. ... P*2e All I have to say is that this was a fantastic pawn drop.

Very good endgame. I can't think of any comments on other moves at the moment.

22. ... What if my opponent moved G-7g or N-7g rather than S-7g? Because even now I don't know what to do for that situation.

Can you post the kifu from the "txt" option in PlayOK? That way I can load it into BCMShogi and check for myself.

It could have gone 1. G-7g 2. R-7d 3. Px4e 4. S*8h (forks the gold and lance). Or regardless of what he plays, 1. S*3i 2. Sx3i 3. Nx3g+ 4. Rx2f 5. Px2f 6. Nx3g.

I actually never thought of that. Haha. If he played that line I would not know what to do. Although back then I was a noob.
